Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are work-based learning qualifications which are funded via the Apprenticeship Levy. There are a wide range of programmes available, dependant on your role and place of work, with various possible career pathways.

Non-Clinical Pathway

There are opportunities to develop leadership and management skills as illustrated in the printout in the related downloads section. Apprenticeships can be accessed at any stage, dependant on your role and responsibilities.

Clinical Pathway

Clinical development opportunities are illustrated in the printout in the related downloads section below. There are different routes available which again can be accessed at any stage, dependant on your role and responsibilities.

What do I do if I am interested in an Apprenticeship?

For further information on available standards which may be relevant to your role, visit the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education through the related site section below

Any development opportunities should always be discussed with your manager, usually at appraisal, who will help you to identify the most appropriate qualification for your current role and your future aspirations.

Once you have identified a potential programme, please contact Elaine Bradbury, Workforce Development Lead: elaine.bradbury@nhs.net or 01625 661985 for an informal discussion and an internal application form.
