Overpayments

The policy and procedure applies to all staff who have received pay, including allowances and expenses, in excess of their entitlement (overpayment). It is to clarify the roles and responsibility of staff and managers in relation to overpayments. This policy sets out the steps that the Trust will take to recover any excess of pay.

Recovery of an overpayment will be in the next available payroll run or exceptionally over a period not exceeding THREE months.
