Workforce Information is summary data on the numbers of staff within the organisation covering the areas they work in, and broken down in further categories such as age, gender, payband, etc.
The Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system is used to provide workforce information data and management information.
There is a requirement to ensure statutory returns and data quality targets are met, working with the relevant National bodies, and to provide data in response to Freedom of Information requests (FOI) on behalf of the organisation.
